This Refund Policy governs all purchases made through https://mariacake.com (the "Site") and applies to all digital products, online courses, recipe cards, mentorship, and subscription services (collectively, the "Products") offered by Shadrenko LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").
This Refund Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to both documents.
1. Online Courses (Video-Based Learning)
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all online courses, subject to the conditions below.
You may request a refund within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase if you are not satisfied with the course, provided that you have not substantially consumed the course content.
Consumption threshold. A course is considered substantially consumed — and therefore ineligible for refund — if, at the time of the refund request:
You have viewed more than sixty percent (60%) of a single course, or
You have viewed more than twenty percent (20%) of two or more courses on the platform.
Viewing progress is tracked automatically through the learning platform.
Exclusions. This 14-day guarantee does not apply to:
Refund requests submitted more than 14 calendar days after purchase
Courses purchased as part of a bundle where individual courses are not separately priced (bundles are refundable as a whole only)
Subsequent re-purchases of the same course after a prior refund
Accounts flagged for violation of our Terms of Service
2. Recipe Cards and Digital Downloads (PDF)
Recipe cards and similar digital downloads are delivered immediately upon purchase.
All recipe card and PDF download purchases are final and non-refundable once the file has been accessed or downloaded.
At checkout, you will be asked to confirm your express consent to immediate access and to acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal in exchange for immediate delivery, in accordance with applicable consumer law (including Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU).
3. Subscription
Subscription is billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and renews automatically until cancelled.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Instructions for cancellation are set out in the Terms of Service, Section 7.
No refunds for subscription fees. Subscription fees are non-refundable, including:
Fees paid for the current or prior billing periods (whether monthly or annual)
Periods during which you did not use the service
The unused remainder of any billing period following cancellation
Renewal charges that were not cancelled before the renewal date (see Section 7 of the Terms of Service for cancellation deadlines)
Withdrawal right for new subscribers. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that grants a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts, you may have a limited right to withdraw from your initial subscription. This right:
Applies only to your very first subscription purchase, not to renewals or subsequent re-subscriptions
Is subject to the consumption threshold described in Section 1 of this Policy (applied proportionally to subscription content accessed)
Must be exercised by contacting us at service@mariacake.com within 14 calendar days of your initial subscription purchase
4. Mentorship and Live Programs
Mentorship sessions and live programs are non-refundable once the first session has been delivered or the program start date has passed, whichever occurs first.
If you cancel before the first session, we may, at our discretion, issue a full or partial refund or credit toward a future program.
5. Technical Issues
If you experience technical difficulties accessing a Product, please contact us at service@mariacake.com within 14 days of the issue. We will work in good faith to resolve access problems.
A technical issue does not by itself entitle you to a refund. However, if we are unable to provide reasonable access to a Product you have paid for, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a replacement, extension of access, credit, or refund.
6. Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges
If you believe you have been charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge, an unauthorized transaction, or a charge after cancellation), please contact us at service@mariacake.com within 30 days of the charge.
We will investigate and, if a billing error is confirmed, issue a corrective refund to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days. Your bank may take additional time to reflect the refund.
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly and directly without involvement of the payment network.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us is a violation of this Refund Policy and our Terms of Service.
If you initiate a chargeback for a charge that is valid under this Policy, we reserve the right to:
Contest the chargeback by providing the payment processor with evidence of purchase, delivery, and any prior communications
Suspend or terminate your access to all current and future Products
Recover associated chargeback fees and reasonable collection costs through lawful means
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email service@mariacake.com with the following information:
Your full name and the email address used at purchase
Order number or transaction ID
Date of purchase
A brief description of your reason for the request
We will respond within 48 hours of receiving your request. If we do not respond within 48 hours, the date of your original request will be treated as the effective date for purposes of processing your refund or cancellation.
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank to reflect the refund.
9. Refund Abuse
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, and to deny future purchases, if we determine in good faith that a user is abusing our refund policy — including but not limited to repeat refund requests, requests made after substantial consumption of content, or coordinated refund activity.
10. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit or exclude any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country, state, or region of residence.
If you reside in a jurisdiction that grants mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, or refund rights for digital content (such as the European Union, the United Kingdom, or certain U.S. states), those rights apply to you regardless of the terms above.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this Policy reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will not apply retroactively to purchases made before the effective date of the change.
